NYX soft matte lip cream

So I picked up two NYX soft matte lip creams in the shades London and Stockholm, I absoloutely love matte lipsticks and have been seeing these all over instagram, I haven't found anywhere that stocks NYX products in London, so I ordered them off Amazon. In the USA they sell for less than a few dollars, but online in the UK they sell for between £6 - £10 depending on which web store you use. I really love my nude lip and I figured these two products are a relatively cheap addition to my ever growing lip product collection.

I took two pictures of the swatches of both products, one with flash and one without flash so you could see how they look against my complexion, my honest favourite and if you are only going to buy one I would go for London, its a true nude, a very soft brown with subtle pink tones. Stockholm is gorgeous too but its more of an evening colour and has more of a salmon tone to it (in my opinion).

 

Worth the money? Definitely! This product is a 'must have' for anybody interested in a cheaper nude lip option which you can carry in your bag and take with you on nights out without worrying about it being misplaced. 

I don't usually use a liner in conjunction with these products. However, it's my go to if I'm in a rush or I'm undecided on what lipstick to wear! 

I find they apply in a relatively smooth manner and are super creamy! Regarding durability, if I've had a few drinks or maybe had a bite to eat while wearing this product, I can safely say it's lasted pretty well considering the price! The only negative would be is that I don't feel you get a generous amount of product in the tube. 

A final note is that you do have to put on a few layers to achieve a decent coverage and wait a short while until it turns completely matte, but overall I'm glad I purchased this product and I would experiment with other shades!
