So this week I have only purchased makeup and skin care products, and I'm definitely loving blushers at the moment!
First up is a three piece set from Clinique called 'anti blemish solutions' it is for blemish or spot prone skin, it retails at £25 and is available from any Clinique concession. The set includes; a cleansing foam, clarifying lotion (and all-over clearing treatment), my skin is very sensitive however, products are working amazing so far! I am using the trio once everyday as part of my night time routine.
Next is a Gel Eyeliner I saw on a YouTube video, and normally I will use a liquid liner, but I'm loving this, and it's definitely easier to slay that cat eye! ;) Maybelline Gel Liner retails at £7.99 from Superdrug.com
So I don't really invest in an expensive mascara because I always wear false lashes, and I only really need mascara to blend my top lashes in with my extensions, or on the bottom lash. Maybelline Mascara Great Lash retails at £4.99 from Boots.com and is the perfect size for any makeup bag and its easy to chuck in your handbag too! It's good for the price, but if you use to much you can definitely end up with that 'spider leg' eyelash effect!
Hair oil! I normally use Salon Professional hair oil, but I've been wanting to try this out and it's actually really good! It retails at £9.99 from Superdrug.com, L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil is a medium consistency, and definitely makes your hair feel softer and looker shinier, so far so good!
Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation in Honey Bronze, is my usual foundation purchase, but it is definitely a good feeling when you stock up on foundation, because when you wake up in the morning and start to beat your face and find out that your foundation is on the low low, it's never a good start to the day! So I always make sure I have a spare bottle knocking around. It retails at £30 from Debenhams.com (thumbs down for damaged packaging :-()
I've only just started getting into highlighters, so before I start splashing the cash, I wanted to try out a cheap highlighter so I could see if I like the result or not. This is the Revoloution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights, it isn't super pigmented but what do you expect for £3, it does the job! I bought it from Superdrug.com
I also want to start building up my blusher collection, so I bought a rosey pink coloured blush from Bourjois Paris in the colour 33 - Lilas D'or, it's lovely and just adds a soft flush of colour to my cheeks which is exactly what I want! It retails for £7.99 from Superdrug.com
Next is a gold gel-infused eyeshadow from L'oreal Paris in the shade Golden Nude 211, it's a really nice colour just to press onto your eye lid, and the consistency is really nice thanks to the gel infusion! It retails for £5.49 from Superdrug.com
It wouldn't be a weekly favourites without a lipstick! I'm forever building my lipstick collection, and trying new brands, this is called Very Victoria by Charlotte Tilbury and it retails at £23 from Charlottetilbury.com, it's a really nice soft matte nude and definitely would compliment any skin complexion, it goes on really smoothly and doesn't dry out your lips! I will be using this product for a look on my channel soon!
Last but certainly not least, is this gorgeous blush compact by Yves Saint Laurent cosmetics in the shade Passion - 6, it retails at £33 from Debenhams.com and is a gorgeous rosey pink colour, its highly pigmented so a little goes a long way, and its buildable if you want a stronger colour! It is really lovely as a natural colour if you aren't up for a heavy make-up day as well!
I hope you enjoyed reading about this weeks favourite purchases, I'm always looking for new products to try so leave me some comments on what I should check out next!
Happy shopping
