My favourite hair products

Hey guys, this post is one for my hair lovers, I'm going to show you exactly what I use to on my hair to wash and treat my hair and also styling products. I'm going to do a more detailed hair tutorial on my YouTube channel within the next month so I can show you all how to use them and get the most out of the products, and also show a few other gems!

So I've been using Mythic Oil Shampoo for over a year now and I can't get enough! It's a L'oreal Professional product, so you can't get this at drug stores, only in salons and online. They do a smaller size at 250ml, but for a few pound more you can get a salon backwash size shampoo (750ml) which lasts me a good few months. Pro's about this product are, it's oil based so its rather nourishing, it also helps with frizz and gives amazing shine, and it lathers up really well. Negatives about this product are, you may find you need to do an extra shampoo or two if you have a heavy amount of product on your hair or haven't washed it for a while, as it's oil based its less abrasive and naturally softer on your hair.

How I use it: I shampoo using roughly a 50p piece size of the product on wet hair, rinse and the repeat. I normally shampoo my hair twice a week.

The Mythic Oil range does come with a conditioner, however I use the treatment masque instead, as much as I love the conditioner, I need something more intense for my hair as it is naturally very dry. The consistency for this product is a thick cream, and it smells amazing! Although I only shampoo my hair twice a week, I use this masque whenever I wear my hair down and curly as it gives it a moisture boost and helps with the shine and frizz. Once a week I will do an intense treatment and leave this product on my hair overnight which makes it look and feel amazing! Again this is a backwash salon size product 500ml, and is not available in a smaller size.

How I use it: Apply to towel dried hair, I use quite a lot of this product on my hair and then comb it through to make sure its evenly applied.

This oil is absolutely everything! Kerastase Elixir Ultime has been a reoccurring product in my hair box for at least five years; it's more of a high-end oil, but it is worth every single penny! It is a beautifying hair treatment made up of four luxurious oils; you can use this product before you shampoo and condition as a pre-hair treatment, and after as a post-condition treatment, or before and after styling! I literally use it whenever I see it. It's not a very heavy oil so it doesn't weigh your hair down and is perfect for any hair type.

It retails online for £27.75 (if you buy this from a salon, it retails for £34+) I get mine from http://www.allbeauty.com/haircare/1011091-kerastase-elixir-ultime-versatile-beautifying-oil-125ml

How I use it: I apply two-three pumps to my hair after I have conditioned it, and then one-two pumps when my hair has been dried and styled.

Introducing L'oreal Professional Tecni Art Spiral Splendour! It's a professional product so you will only be able to purchase this online or from selected salons. It's cream based so it makes your hair really soft instead of using a curling mousse and it going crunchy (I hate that!), it nourishes your hair and helps fight frizz and still defines your curls to help give separation and definition. This product won't give you curly hair if your hair is straight, but if your hair is curly it will definitely help to enhance the curl and give it bounce!

How I use it: I use a 5p piece and apply onto towel dried scrunched hair and then I will either let my hair air dry or diffuse it.

When I do my hair tutorial, I will talk about these products in more depth and show you from start to finish how I achieve my hair look. Thanks for reading and I hope this helped! x

Nude and Brown Lip Liners

Hey guys! I wanted to share with you my collection of nude and brown lip liners, whenever I go makeup shopping I always keep my eye out for a new nude or brown lip liner as they are my go to with any makeup look I do. When I wear lip liners I tend to wear them alone, or some with a lip balm to create a more glossier, moisturised look.

This is one of my favourites, and its virtually impossible to wipe off without some seriously good makeup remover! It applies really nicely and I tend to wear a lipbalm with this product as after a while it can feel quite stiff on my lips. It retails at £15:

This lip liner is honestly so close to my natural lip colour, and I don't really wear it much! I have to press quite hard when applying this product to get any colour difference. It's probably best worn with a deeper lipstick and not by itself unless you really like an ultra soft lip look. It retails at £12.50:

I bought this lip liner after all the Kylie Jenner lip hype, I've honestly probably worn it twice since I purchased it, it wears really well but I don't love the colour against my skin tone unless I've gone heavier with my makeup. It retails at £12.50:

I love this colour, this is definitely on my hit list, I wear it with a lip balm otherwise it can be quite drying and I prefer the glossier look with this liner! It retails at £12.50:

This is a great liner if your looking for something reasonably inexpensive! It applies really nicely and isn't too drying, it also lasts for a long time on your lips considering the price! It is definitely one of my top go to's. It retails for £4.99:

Everyone needs to have this liner in their make up bag! Its super affordable and you can wear it with any makeup look! I don't have anything negative to say about this lip liner! Go get it.. It retails at £3.99:

This is another one of my favourite lip liners, it's a really nice mid brown tone with some purple undertones, it's definitely a good colour for a darker brown makeup look! It retails at £2.99:

I picked this up one day when I was shopping in Wilkinsons! I didn't have great expectations but I do love the colour, my only negative would be its better to be worn over dry lips and it takes a while to build the colour, but it is a really nice shade! It retails at £0.99:

Swatches of all the lip liners above, against my skin tone! If you know of any favourite lip liners I should try, leave me a comment!

Thanks for reading!
