KYLIE COSMETICS

So I was really reluctant to purchase from Kylie cosmetics, I think all the shades are pretty much dupe-able, and because of shipping to the UK, it is much easier to go out and buy something similar, and not have to wait weeks for it to arrive! But I caved in and bought 'Like' lipgloss, and if I am honest, I absolutely LOVE it! The product itself comes in a cardboard box, with no detail on the outside but when you open it, it has the Kylie logo which I'm sure you've all seen before, and a really cute card with a picture of Kylie on the back from her Lipgloss ad!

The colour itself is a gorgeous brown, perfect for any skin tone! The formula is a total win as well, it's not sticky and has great staying power. I didn't have any problems with the applicator either, except I do always prefer Doe Foot applicators for liquid lip products.

Now onto price point and shipping, it retails for $15, which is OK for the product, but I wouldn't say no to buying it for less (LOL). The shipping cost $14.95 and took 13 days from the order date to arrive, which isn't good, considering I purchase a lot from China and my deliveries are usually here in less than a week! Altogether I paid just over £20 for this lipgloss and shipping, which is so expensive but the product is good, and you're paying for the name of course!

'LIKE'

Overall, if you have the money and you want to purchase a gloss from Kylie cosmetics, go for it! It's a good product, over priced but nevertheless, a good product!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and if there are any other products you want me to review, leave me a comment below. I will see you in my next post!

SUNDAY FUNDAY

The sun was out and I was feeling fancy today, I try to always wear heels with my outfit because it glams up a casual look, and I also feel it helps with my posture and confidence! I don't ever wear higher than a 100mm in Christian Louboutin shoes because I just end up looking like I am on stilts (LOL).

Today I paired my well loved Christian Louboutin Nude Pigalle's, with grey on grey! I'm not really a Summer kind of a gal, I absolutely adore Winter, and I'm honestly clueless when it comes to Summer style. This faux leather jacket sees me through all seasons, and I have had it for a good few years, its perfect to throw on top of any outfit!

I bought this vest top a few years ago from H&M and I just absolutely love the fit of this, its perfect for the heat because it doesn't cling to your body, but again it's not super baggy and unflattering. It works really well with this bandeaus from Primark.
I haven't worn these skinny jeans for ages, but I love them, they fit amazingly and have a distressed edge at the bottom of the ankle, making this an edgy but classy outfit.

These Celine glasses are gorgeous, they wear well with any outfit as the colour is neutral all the way through (win!) My handbag is my trusty Prada bag, a true classic!

I hope you guys and gals liked this blog, just an insight to the type of outfits I will be wearing this Summer, keeping it simple, casual yet with that glam edge.

Shoes - Christian Louboutin Nude Pigalle 100mm
Jeans - Topshop Jamie Jeans Grey
Jacket - Topshop Faux Leather Jacket

SELFRIDGES SHOPPING!

So I have been doing some makeup shopping, as per usual, and I picked up some goodies at Selfridges Birmingham. Unfortunately, I cannot contain myself in Selfridges, I'm like a kid in a candy shop!

The first product I bought was two lip liners from Charlotte Tilbury in the shade - Iconic Nude and Pillow Talk, I absolutely love these liners, they are soft to apply and aren't drying at all! They are perfect to give you that extra umps! They retail at £16 each from selfridges.com (Left to right, pillow talk and iconic nude)

The next product I bought was the Nars Luminous All Day Powdered foundation in the shade Punjab, I wanted a powdered foundation to bring my makeup together, and this is a really nice one! I am normally the shade Barcelona in Nars foundations, but the sales assistant told me to go two shades lighter to stop my makeup looking dark! It retails at £33 from selfridges.com

Next up is my new favorite brush, again from Nars which is the Mie Kabuki brush which is perfect for powders! I absolute love it, it's super soft and glides along your face! It retails at £43 from selfridges.con

Next is the Giorgio Armani Illuminous Silk Foundation, I have been wanting to try this out for ages but haven't got round to purchasing it, I bought it in the shade 7.5 and I am yet to wear it as I really want to do a first impressions and full review on my YouTube channel first so keep an eye out for that! I also bought a gorgeous satin lipstick in the shade 200 and I am in love, this is totally my colour! The foundation retails at £37 and the lipstick retails at £27

I also visited the Urban Decay counter and purchased this b6 vitamin-infused complexion spray at 9.99 for a travel size. You spray it on before applying any makeup or primer and it just feels so refreshing! It also helps with redness and pore minimization (win!).

I also picked up my usual eyebrow pencil from Mac in the shade Brunette! I have been using this for ages and I have a love hate relationship with this product because it isn't retractable! But for some reason I can't stop buying it when it runs out! It retails at 14.00.

The full haul will be up on my YouTube channel by Friday! Thanks for reading!
